About This Font
Figtree by Erik D. Kennedy is a friendly geometric sans from Google Fonts. This UX/UI designer created his first-ever font for web and mobile apps. Kennedy teaches thousands of students through Learn UI Design and works with clients from Fortune 100 to Y-Combinator startups.
The family walks the line between simplicity and friendliness. Light-hearted and crisp for text, punchy in uppercase for buttons and labels. The distinctive t, f, and y letters show unabashed curves. Kennedy designed it as an alternative to Montserrat or Circular for UI designers.
Variable font with 7 weights from Light to Black. Supports 280+ Latin languages. Italics added November 2022. Currently ranks #41 on Google Fonts. Free under SIL Open Font License through Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts.
Perfect for personable brands needing clean, approachable interface typography.
